My Gym Day Essentials!


Hey Hey! One of my favorite things to do is get in the gym and workout! I’ve always loved going to the gym however, in the past I wasn’t as consistent and I also didn’t have as much knowledge about it as I do now. I love getting in the gym and getting my sweat on! There’s so many benefits to working out that drive my motivation and love for gainz! In addition to increasing my strength and flexibility, working out has improved my appetite, caused me to get the BEST sleep, and boosts my overall mood. I thought since I love the gym so much, it was only right that I share with you all my gym day essentials! Keep reading to find out! :)

1. Water Bottle: Making sure I have water is a MUST. Obviously when you’re physically exerting yourself, it’s imperative that you stay hydrated. I have the cute nike water bottle pictured below and I make sure to have a full bottle for each workout.
2. Headbands: It doesn’t matter if my hair is straight or curly, I prefer not to sweat out my edges. I also don't want the oils from my hair dripping down on my face because I meannnnnnn it’s my face duh! To prevent this from happening I make sure to wear a headband of some sort. I have a few different types but I really like the everyday & active no-slip grip one I have by scunci. There are also great ones made by workout brands like luluemon or of course my fav, Nike. 
3. Nike Pro/ Dry-Fit Clothing: Even though it is kind of on the pricey side, I do own and love a lot of nike. Nike is obviously perfect for the gym but I personally love their pro clothing. It keeps everything secure and comfortable which makes for a successful and productive workout. I do buy and wear workout clothing from anywhere though. One thing that is a must is that it is dry-fit because I plan to sweat and this keeps me from feeling gross. 
4. Weight Lifting Gloves: During my workout I use plenty of machines and I even incorporate some lifting. Lifting weights and using these machines over long periods of time can result in calluses and blisters on the hands. I personally don’t want this so I make sure to grab my gloves for my workouts. I wasn’t too picky about these so I grabbed mine from Target. The ones I have are champion and very durable! 
5. My Wireless Beats By Dre: What’s a workout without music?!? I love listening to my favorites playlists while I workout and my beats put me in the zone! I feel like I’m the only person in the gym with these in. 
6. Hand Sanitizer: I make sure to wash my hands and keep hand sanitizer while in the gym. It’s a place where so many people are coming in and out so it is easy to pick up germs. I don’t want any cooties so I make sure to keep my hands off my face and wash my hands following my workout. I am quite the germa-phob actually. Haha! 
Well those are my gym day must haves! Having every aspect of your workout organized and in place means you have one less excuse not to workout.
