Self-Care Isn't Selfish

If there's one thing I enjoy, it's engaging in some good ol self-care. I take any opportunity I can to do something nice for myself. Self-care is the practice of taking action to preserve or improve one's own health. I like to think of it as a healthy activity that you feel is restorative to your overall health and well-being. When most people think of self-care i'm sure they envision pedicures and face masks. Now don't get me wrong, those are ways to restore yourself, but self-care comes in many different forms. I want you to think about the last time you really checked in with yourself when feeling depleted to assess exactly what you needed for restoration and recharge. We prioritize depending on our needs and depending on your experiences this will change and look different. Are you honoring this? Broadening your understanding of self-care can help you to keep yourself high on your priority list. Below I have included some different types of self-care and how you can keep your cup full.
