"If Kisses Were Snowflakes, I’d Send You a Blizzard”

Hey Hey! Today’s post is going to be about what I’ve been doing in all this snow! I have been trapped inside for the past 4 days and although I have loved not having to go to work/school, it has been difficult trying to keep myself entertained. Here are the top 5 ways I have been spending my time in the snow:

1. New Camera, Who Dis?: Thankfully right before the snow began I purchased a new camera I had my eye on for a few weeks so I’ve had the pleasure of playing with my new gadget for as long as I want. I am in no way, shape, or form a photographer so believe me this takes hours and days lol. I am in LOVE with this camera and I am looking forward to having all the photos on my blog pop severely! Lol The pictures featured today are a glimpse of what my new gadget can do.

2. Relaxing: Basically I have not done anything related to work or school since I have been home (I’ll probably pay for this later) so the relaxation is at an ALL TIME HIGH. I have been getting a great amount of sleep and I have been having so much time to meditate and pray. It is very rare that you get four days home so I figured I would take full advantage of the solitude.

3. Netflix: Netflix & Chill is an understatement. There’s nothing like stumbling across a good Netflix series or documentary and having the time to indulge. This snow couldn't have come at a better time! I recently finished watching “Bloodline”….ya’ll should check it out!

4. Food: I know I’m not the only one who has been eating for four days straight. There’s really not much to explain besides the fact that I’ve been eating when I’m hungry and eating when I get bored. All praises to the Most High for this high metabolism….I pray it never fails me. Lol

5. De-cluttering: Recently I have found myself de-cluttering my personal space as I shared with you all that I prefer a more minimalistic atmosphere. Due to the fact that I have been confined to my house, the de-cluttering has been in overdrive. I have gone through my drawers and closet getting rid of clothing that I do not need/ want and it’s all ready to be donated to the local high school and woman’s shelter. I’ve also been online shopping while home so making room for these new items is necessary. I have a rule that if there’s something new coming in, something old has to go out and I rather give these items to people in need than just throwing them away.

So these are just some of the things I have been spending my snow day doing. Stay warm and let me know what your snow days consist of in the comments.

Peace & Good Vibes,

Harmonious Kourt
